Holms Wedding - 2026 - MLP
On May 23, 2026 Mercedes Lane Photography had the honor of capturing the beautiful Holmes wedding in Northern California near Big Bend California close to Burney Falls and Redding, CA. This romantic spring wedding took place on private property surrounded by nature and some of the most beautiful views Northern California has to offer. Mercedes Lane Photography arrived at 12:30 PM to begin documenting every meaningful moment of the wedding day before the ceremony began at 4:30 PM.
Lynzie and Lane’s love story began in high school and after eight years together they finally celebrated their dream wedding surrounded by family and friends who traveled from all over to be there. Their colorful spring wedding was filled with personality and thoughtful details that made the entire day feel warm joyful and unforgettable. From the vibrant floral design to the mix of colorful napkins every detail reflected their fun and genuine love story.
One of the most unique details of the wedding was the trendy black and white handcrafted dance floor that became the center of the celebration all night long. Guests danced the night away while celebrating the newlyweds with champagne bottle service custom signs welcoming the bride and groom and oversized cutout heads of the couple along with their dogs and cats so their pets could still feel part of the day.
The emotional vows were one of the most memorable parts of the wedding day. Watching moms ,siblings, and loved ones cry during the ceremony was such a beautiful reminder of how deeply loved Lynzie and Lane are. The weather was absolutely perfect, with a soft breeze throughout the day making this Northern California outdoor wedding feel even more magical.
The bride wore a stunning wedding dress from Anthropologie that fit the romantic spring wedding aesthetic perfectly. Honestly my dream dress and it was just so amazing. Mercedes Lane Photography also created a custom wedding video for the couple to help preserve every emotion and candid moment from the day though Iphone 17 Pro Photos.
For sunset wedding photos, we traveled to a nearby reservoir where the cloudy weather created the dreamiest atmosphere before the sun finally peeked through at the perfect moment. These sunset portraits were some of the most romantic images from the entire wedding day and perfectly captured the feeling of being deeply in love in Northern California.
The first dances were incredibly sweet and intimate and later in the evening we captured private cake cutting moments followed by late night flash photography of the bride and groom. These fun editorial style flash photos quickly became some of my favorite images ever and something I will absolutely be recommending to future brides and grooms planning their wedding photography experience.
